Day One Virtual 5k Run/Walk Overview

Date: Run anytime, anywhere!

This virtual race can be done anywhere you choose, at any pace, on any day until April 30th. No more packet pickups, waiting in lines, or crowded starting lines!

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), this 5K event helps to extend the focus around sexual assault in our communities and educate the public on how to prevent sexual violence.

So let's hit the pavement, trails, and treadmills to raise awareness and support for Day One!

Once registered, you will be notified how to submit your results for fun to see where you stand against your competitors.

Sign up today! The first 250 sign ups receive a fantastic Day One 5K medal!

Even though we can't be together, we want to continue the main goal of this race...raising awareness of sexual violence. So we ask you to be active on social media. Take a selfie during your runs, tag Day One, click the fundraise tab to create your own fundraiser!

$30 Registration for all ages

All participants will receive a race medal!

What is a Virtual Race?

A virtual race is a run that can be done anywhere you choose, at any pace. We welcome all runners, walkers, and joggers of any age. With social distancing still a thing, we didn't want to cancel our annual race again this year and thought we could still raise awareness and support for Day One even if we can't be together in person!

How Does it Work?
This event is a fun run, so you win just by participating! You can run your race at your own pace, wherever you like.

How Do I Track my Distance and Time my Run?
We accept results on the honor system, so you can track your distance and time however you like. If you want to be accurate, try using a running GPS watch, or one of the numerous free smartphone apps.

Can I Participate if I Live Abroad?

Yes! You can participate from any where in the world! However, we can only ship your race medal to runners in the US.

Can I use Social Media to Publicize my Run?
Please do! Share info about the event, take a selfie, challenge your friends! Just be sure to tag Day One or use the hashtag #DayOne5K

When Will I Get my Medal?

Once we receive the medals in house (by the end of March) we will start mailing them out as people register!

How did I do?
